Annual Cal-OSHA agency CE requirement for California dental employees per Cal-OSHA dental facility mandate. California Dental Board CE and AGD National PACE approved CE hours. 2-hour self-directed distance learning CE course. Reviews 2021-2024 OSHA standards including COVID-19 recommendations and OSHA protocols. Fulfills the requirement for mandatory California Cal-OSHA annual credentialing for all staff members that have patient contact and possible exposure to contaminated materials. All clinical dental staff members are required to take this course EVERY YEAR per California Cal-OSHA mandate. Great opportunity for employers to order courses for each staff member to obtain documentation of protocol adherence. Many offices order multiple courses and complete them together at an OSHA/Infection Control staff meeting. CE Alert: This Dental OSHA Review course does NOT replace or substitute for the 2-hour Dental Infection Control CE course required by the California Dental Board for every licensed California dental professional during each 2-year license renewal period. Every California licensed dentist, dental hygienist, and dental assistant must complete a separate 2-hour Dental Infection Control CE course to renew their license, and the OSHA Review course does not meet that requirement. The Dental Infection Control and Dental OSHA Review CE courses are separate and unique courses required by separate state agencies. The Dental Infection Control course may be ordered separately on our website and is the responsibility of the dental professional (DDS, DMD, RDH, RDA, etc.) and not the employer.
